  1. Steve I watch you and like your commentary. Trump is a petulant child for this action. Ask Kernan what he thinks. Should be amusing. Trumpy has fired many government experts. Trump is so stupid. If the number was hot like 175 then no chance for a rate cut. Idiots in the WH

  2. everything Trump touches dies...it's the rule. Many of your CNBC colleagues are in the queue. Thoughts and prayers for those of us who are being "BIGLY" affected by the real economy you hotshots have zero understanding of...maybe we should be doing stock buy-backs....LOL!

  3. Someone should tell the Grifter in Chief that 2+2=4, no matter who does the math.

The negative economic impact of his misguided tariff fight with our allies and trade partners just took time to surface.

Numbers are numbers, and they actually protect us from misguided politicians.

    Ignore fools.

  4. Too late Trump should resign. His tariff playbook is a proven losing strategy. Our nation cannot afford another day with a stumble bum there

  5. Trump says Powell should resign. Donald believes the new chairman will obey him. Trump fired the head of BLS; apparently Donald believes the new BLS boss will give him more favorable statistics. Trump is ready to bend our legal system and foreign policy for favored parties. The world will adjust.

  6. Thank you for having the courage to call out this crazy shit on TV. We need more people like you to speak the truth.

  7. Other than "the numbers weren't favorable to Trump", there has been no data provided to backup the claims of inaccurate jobs numbers today. /1

  9. Another Trump lesson for the children. If you do not like the grade on a test, fire the teacher. That is how you will become smarter.

  10. As long as we have a lunatic in the White House no sane person should not be overweighted in equities. To make matters worse we will no longer be able to believe any numbers from the BLS. Financial gurus are in denial about affect of tariffs on the consumer. A stock market disaster is coming.

  11. When people lose their jobs and can’t afford a place to live, a car, or to feed their families, they won’t need statistics to tell them that Trump has destroyed the economy.

  12. How couldn’t anyone condemn it ? As a parent , your kids are doing kid stuff but they fall down when you’re not looking so you put them up for adoption? Your drummer drops his stick after you’ve burned your guitar so you fire him? It’s insane.

  13. No one with credibility, including allies and adversaries will trust economic numbers released during the Trump administration. If gross semester product is 9%, unemployment zero, inflation zero, no one will believe it - or should. Trump fucked himself. fuck Trump.

  14. What bothers me the most is the lack of trust in trump’s regime. This is not my America.

  15. No such thing as apolitical in the eyes of Trump. Either you’re with him or you’re not. A truly sad day to watch this train wreck happen in real time.

  16. Simple approach to this.

Have the non partisan Government Accountability Office (GAO) go in & investigate if BLS followed their normal procedures or played games

This sort of thing is squarely in GAO’s mission & expertise

Trump should agree to it in a heartbeat if he thinks his claims are valid

  17. If the organization has not spoken against Trump's actions prior to this incident, then I hope the members of it have learned from this disaster to act sooner, quicker, earlier next time.
