To confirm - Starmer didn’t comment on the Graham Linehan arrest! Daily Telegraph telling lies (so what else is new)! A No 10. spokesman simply referenced back to remarks Starmer made months ago about an unrelated matter - he said nothing about the Linehan case! #Newsnight #r4today

I’m not sure about this quote because it’s behind a paywall and no other media has it. Perhaps it’s accurate or maybe Starmer said “I can’t comment on that but I expect the Met Police” then something more general about policing - which is not quite the same thing. Honestly - I can’t be sure

No worries - I used to be involved with the Greens so long ago it was Jonathan Porritt in charge. Problem was it wasn’t breaking through and to get things done locally I needed Councillor support so moved to Labour where I’ve stayed for 22 years
