I watched Fox News for 2 straight days at my Mom’s house. By the time I left, I could easily see how, if that’s all you watched, you could be completely swayed. They do an incredible job of taking context-free facts, and beating the hell out of ‘em, over and over and over.

Hard to describe how dissonant this is for a reform Jew raised in US in the 70s and 80s. Back then, Israel always was the force for good defending against evil on 3 sides. To see Israel slide gradually and fully into the role that European fascists occupied in the 1930s and '40s is heartbreaking.
Yep. We made good use of our Costco membership in the US because we had a full-size freezer in the basement. We just don't have space for bulk stuff here, so it doesn't make sense. Plus, the best part of Costco in the US is really good liquor for cheap. But not in the Trusts.

There's a lesson here for the Speaker. Before you jump to condemn a member for a transgression, real or imagined, maybe play it out two or three steps forward in your head to see if it might not come back to bite you in the ass later on.
