  1. I'm not a visual artist, but for the last 30 days, I've done one 5-10 minute ink doodle or sketch to calm my anxiety, to learn a new skill, and as a way to say F-you to AI 'art'.

Here are 6 of my still-messy favourites.

Now you show me your real, human, flawed art, please! 🫶

    NEW:

“I’ve had enough…I’m refusing to back down.”

Texas state Rep. Nicole Collier speaks to MSNBC from the Texas State Capitol. She is stuck there after the Texas GOP required police surveillance as condition for release. She is refusing to sign a waiver for the law enforcement escort.

  3. I’m concerned that people won’t appreciate how big a line is being crossed here. Texas is suspending basic Constitutional freedoms for opposition lawmakers. This isn’t dipping your toe in the authoritarian waters, it’s diving head first into the deep end. This is big league authoritarianism.

  4. Trump says “we may be the only country in the world which allows mail-in ballots…I could be wrong.”

He is. 34 democracies allow some form of postal voting. That goes up to 54 if you include voting from abroad.

  5. The president of Ukraine arrives in Washington. As usual, no red carpet, no warm greeting, and conduct that tests the outer boundaries of what is required under the rules of diplomacy and statecraft.

  6. News channels somehow managing to cover a War Summit as if it were a Royal Wedding - both breathless and adding no insight.

This isn't a dig at Sky - have shopped around. They're all like this. "Oh what jolly fun this is!" seemingly oblivious to the actual stakes for an entire nation at war. ~AA
