I can't subskeet this appalling paper I've stumbled across as I do background reading on various research groups I'm considering applying to for postdocs, because job market and reasons etc etc. But. Wow. Just. Wow.

Okay so I was reading a paper on the benefits of red light therapy and in the conclusion it used the term “big pharma” in quotes. Is that weird? It was in reference to people self medicating bc it’s cheaper, but I would’ve placed the onus on the whole American healthcare system.
