United Healthcare is trying to make it sound like Johns Hopkins is trying to set terms that “harm employees and patient members” which as a healthcare worker I know is bullcrap. Johns Hopkins is the gold standard for medical care.

Oh my god United Healthcare couldn’t come to a contract agreement with Johns Hopkins before the old contract ran out and now United Healthcare is out of network at Johns Hopkins one of the largest healthcare providers in Maryland.

Is there any insect/bug that looks like a yellow jacket and lives in the ground? Because the supposedly yellow jackets in are yard are the chiliest I’ve ever seen. We’ve mowed the lawn several times and they didn’t care. Literally watched my dog nearly stick is whole paw in it and nothing.

First successful project with my new to me KH-585 knitting machine. Pretty happy with how it came out, just 2 rows were messed up but nothing a little Swiss darning couldn’t fix.

Damn that’s a steal mine was $225 but brand new knitting machine costs $1,200 but I think I still did pretty well considering it was in near pristine conditions.

I’m mentally toying with mending and sewing but then I remind myself I’ve fallen hook line and sinker for machine knitting and I don’t need another hobby right now. Although all my knitting machines are thrifted so that counts for something.
