The problem is populism is often anti-progressive. "Family values", nativism, isolationism, protectionism, anti-intellectual. Though I wonder how he's going to reconcile being anti-banker and anti-Wall St with his need to fundraise.
When I Googled to see if he ran in 2020, I saw that in June he was talking about how the Dems needed to go "full populist". He's definitely running in 2028 and it looks like he's taking early swings and those who would easily beat him in the primary.
Dude, he desperately wants to run in 2028. And he thinks he'll be able to do it by backstabbing. The MSM also oft repeated those talking points.
Then again, he wants to run as a populist and not a progressive.
Also I'm sure Trump will make the Smithsonian change their data to match what the Russians said about the volcano.
