10 September 1921 | German Jewish woman, Rebekka Klara Wahl, was born in Berlin. She emigrated to Belgium.
She was deported to #Auschwitz from Kazerne Dossin in Mechelen on 25 August 1942. She did not survive.

10 September 1937 | A Belgian Jewish boy, Marcel Alter, was born in Brussels. He lived in the Netherlands.
He arrived at #Auschwitz on 30 September 1942 in a transport of 610 Jews deported from #Westerbork. He was among 454 of them murdered in a gas chamber.

10 September 1897 | A Pole, Władysław Prauss, was born in Warsaw. A lawyer.
In #Auschwitz from 14 April 1942. No. 29617 He perished in the camp on 28 July 1942.

On 26 August 1942 he was deported to #Auschwitz from Mechelen / Malines. He did not survive.

10 September 1930 | An Italian Jewish woman, Liliana Segre, was born in Milan.
In January 1944, she was deported to #Auschwitz with her father Alberto who perished in the camp in April 1944.
Liliana survived. Today, she is a Senator for life in #Italy and turns 95.
