Reagan, even with Alzheimer's was a master of lying. The last generation of republicans knew they were lying, this generation believes the lies, that is the scary part. The Johnson, Voight, Miller are not liars so much as religious zealots on a mission. Baby Jesus told them so.

The DNC leadership are as much liars today. Both when they became genocide denialists, when they cosied up to the old, “Reaganite” GOP, and when they kept asking for money & future votes when it’s clear the US is now a dictatorship.
