It’s hard to believe that 31% of Americans still believe Trump is “honest and trustworthy.” I think some of them know Trump is a liar, but think he’s lying cleverly to help them and own the libs. They’re pro-lie, so they lie to pollsters about Trump’s lying.
We have a country where surveys repeatedly show that roughly 20-30 percent of the population still believes in young earth creationism. Given that level of willful ignorance on a topic that's been scientifically/definitively debunked countless times, it's easy to believe Trump can actively con 31%.
