Not American so this is kinda confusing but it seems to me that if more people actually voted then there would be more electoral college votes available per candidate so the non voters are as at fault for outcomes as voters are 🤷 am I missing something?

It still blows my mind that there were more people who didn't vote at all than voted for either candidate. I don't think I will ever understand that and as far as I'm aware, the amount of people who didn't vote is vastly larger than the entire population of Ireland, where I'm from
