To honor those who nurture others is to honor life itself. Kindness and guidance we receive ripple beyond us, may Alice’s generosity continue to inspire, as we treat all with the care she showed.

Power must serve the common good, not vanity. A nation led by show over stewardship risks trading its security for illusion.

Dignity must be shared or it is not secure. When one group’s humanity is diminished, everyone’s future becomes vulnerable.

When those in power speak of the vulnerable as though their survival were a prize, compassion is lost. We must not deny to others the dignity and refuge we would beg for in our own hour of need.
