The NHS are forcibly detransitioning trans kids in Brighton and calling it “managed withdrawal.” Their own impact assessment acknowledges trans kids will be at increased risk of harm as a result, don’t want this, and are likely to just use DIY hormones instead

    In large part because a single adult woman who wrote under a gender neutral name and then a male one didn't deal with her own psychological issues around gender and used the enormous wealth she got from that writing to target a tiny minority group.

    The NHS are doing the complete opposite of what they should be doing for political reasons.

    I hope everyone from a ministerial level downwards pushing this do long jail time for GBH and permanent life altering damage due to neglect, and get hauled into the Hague for crimes against humanity.

    Can't we take out a preventative interdict and ask for urgent judicial review with international medical input. None of this was part of any Labour manifesto and seems deliberately harmful to otherwise healthy happy citizens. Nobody voted for this.

    Just so fucking tired of it all, all that will happen is these kids will harm themselves or turn to DIY hormones.     Removal of access to healthcare is a flagrant international human rights violation. And no amount of perception management and PR wording will change that. And to allow them onto the process only for it to be rug pulled demonstrates a level of particularly willful cruelty that weaponizes healthcare.
