1/🧵 First, consider the scale. When tens of thousands march in London for equality, climate action, or peace, the political establishment barely notices. Recent protests about Gaza are a clear indication of this. At most, the media dismisses these as “fringe events.”
If they'd stretched King & Conqueror out into 2 or 3 seasons, not screwed with all the timelines and not invented half of the events so they could sprint through Harold and William's rises it could've been really special.
It's a really entertaining watch, but it could've been amazing.
