What do we owe the people we have tortured, ruined livelihoods of, killed, separated their families…punishing perps is all well and good, but moral harm and redress is a whole other topic. Thank you.
No I couldn’t possibly be any more ashamed of what is happening in this country. All my descendants on both sides were immigrants. I can’t imagine going through what the good people who are following immigration laws are going through now, families being broken up etc.
The ones running the show seem to lack the basic human understanding that these migrants were willing to move heaven &earth to get to the US &enjoy a better quality of life. They care more about the country than the idiots marching around with masks/flags (carrying a flag doesn’t make you a patriot)
