I think generally trying to avoid tangents if possible is good advice, but I can’t stand how the tangent-less version is more fully rendered in attempts to artificially try and make the practice of avoiding tangents look like it improves your art more than it actually does.
It’s disingenuous.
I never played nuts and bolts but from what I understand, it’s a good game, just too much of a departure from the original games.
Like legend of Spyro which are good games in their own right but aren’t popular with people who love the original games.

Damn NYT locked the mini behind a paywall. That was the only one I did besides wordle :c
Top 5 Pokemon from each gen, decided to also give mega evolutions & giantamaxes their own categories.
Hardest were Johto & Hoenn because I love so many designs from those regions, and Gigantamax because I don't really care about most of them tbh.
Also wondering if dialogue on panel 1 matters for catching attention since Midnight Flight did a lot worse than the previous 2, and had no dialogue on panel 1.
Mage’s Brew, which has no dialogue on panel 1 either, is also not doing great.

I’m assuming the first panel probably matters a lot for getting people to stop and read.
Complexion Complex absolutely popped off and I’m certain it’s because Vivian was in a swimsuit on the first panel.
Short term alchemy also did pretty well which had a lot of color and shading in panel 1
It’s weird how varied Mage x Witch’s reception is on r/comics despite posting at around the same time every Monday.
Some weeks it really pops off and other weeks it only gets a handful of upvotes.
Not complaining so much as wondering if it’s solely luck or some other factor I’m missing.
