I still think both is worthwhile. Granted the focus should be on our people but huge backlash does work. The right will never listen to reason but relentless opposition and impossible unpopularity matters

No question. AOC and Bernie just keep rolling on. I hope Newsom will do what he says in CA. Hochul is stuck with trying to redistrict when NY’s constitution requires two successive legislative sessions and then voter approval. That can’t happen by the midterms. Hopefully she will find another way.

I believe we are at a point now where we are clinging to the carcass of our old constitutional republic, every institution has been compromised. Even an electoral win isn’t going to shut down this machine. The system needs rebuilt.
