100% right. We're still dealing with late 20th century workplace norms as companies are streamlining more and more. People are being caught in the divide. The excellent book "Bullshit Jobs" spells this stuff out quite well.

Not only free healthcare but universal basic income. We certainly have the money for it. Dislodge healthcare from employment and give every person no matter how rich or poor the same monthly amount so they can be free to pursue their real interests and avoid economic catastrophe with job loss
