The good news is that it usually doesn’t end well for Kings/Queens/Emperors/Pharaohs/Dictators/Oligarchs who hoard too many riches, and don’t care about the welfare of the common people.
History is on our side.
Yes these people fall hard and often in unpleasant ways but the damage they do before that happens can be catastrophic. I would argue it has already been catastrophic in ways that may not be evident right away. The sad thing is we live in a country with a constitution that should have prevented this
