I 100% agree. And every single time our elected officials profit as well. Citizens United was the first catastrophic cut that caused our democracy to start hemorrhaging. Now it’s on life support thanks to Roberts, Felon47 & the architects of Project 2025.
The NRA buys off Congress. No action on guns.
The oil industry buys off Congress. No action on climate.
Insurance companies buy off Congress. No action on health care.
The list goes on and on.
Money in politics is the root of our dysfunction.
