The good news is that it usually doesn’t end well for Kings/Queens/Emperors/Pharaohs/Dictators/Oligarchs who hoard too many riches, and don’t care about the welfare of the common people.
History is on our side.
I have accepted that I won’t get to see a freely democratic America again in my lifetime, but that doesn’t mean future generations don’t deserve one.
