I have two. One I read before the age of 10 - Ted Sturgeon's book of short stories "A Touch of Strange" - and one I read about two years later, Cordwainer Smith's "The Planet Buyer." I am who I am because of those two novels (and when I found CS's non-cut "Norstrilia," reader, I celebrated.
