Completing Sword of The Sea was a bittersweet play this evening. It was beautiful, but the knowledge of how Giant Squid laid off developers and artists who worked on the game not even a weekend into its release makes me desperately sad.

  1. Game studios now are essentially a c-suite team who plug and play with people's lives. Artists, writers, programmers, testers, all of them are viewed as disposable parts to a vast shell of money.
