That’s right. And don’t get me wrong I’m a huge supporter of EVs and drive an EV9 and sometimes tow my horses with it. That’s how I know the range issue is potentially problematic. I never tow my horses very far so the EV9 works for me.

1000kms + without a trailer this won’t be a problem. Hopefully at the rate battery tech is advancing this won’t be too long. 2/2
-
Unfortunately the big EVs still can’t tow a big load, say 2000ks+ very far. Torque isn’t a problem but range collapses more than a diesel due to the EVs much higher efficiency eg if you double the weight of your rig your range falls by more than half once aero is factored in. Once ranges get to 1/2

The main result is irreversible climate damage. But that’s only apparent if you remove the $$ from your 👀.

The climate clock keeps ticking. Always the best time for urgent action was 1980. Next best time is now.

No time for baby steps I’m afraid.

Might do a sub on offsets lobbyists ACBF. Of course DCCEEW and Minister Bowen and his office also deserve to be called out here as do multiple former chief scientists for their role credential washing the govt’s 🐂 💩.

Like seriously, if 🥔 had won the election and was doing THE SAME 💩 that Labor is doing, all the Laborites would be having conniptions.

But we couldn’t possibly upset our special relationship with the US because we get so much in return…….. well, some people do 🤷
