To put it succinctly, trans community can happen in certain places among a given group of trans people with personal ties to each other, but The Trans Community™ as such is a meaningless sleight of modern language meant to evoke something that cannot actually exist.

I'll sometimes say that or more often just say "trans people". It then becomes just a trait descriptor of a demographic rather than a cohesive body that doesn't really exist in a culturally meaningful way.
