Saw a few recent photos of Bob Dylan. Obviously dyes his hair. Kind of sad. Eighty-two years old. Imagine him in the chair with the paper towels and all. Mind you, maybe he looks at pictures of Angus Young... I don't know. We're all aging.

Still processing Martin Cruz Smith's passing July 11. Arkady #Renko was certainly the best fictional detective (Senior Investigator!) ever. The final novels suffered badly because of Cruz's illness, but I still re-read the first five almost obsessively.
