We discussed the next steps on the way towards a negotiated peace agreement and Ukraine’s future membership in the European Union as well as its reconstruction.

Why not have a Summit between you and Zelenskyy, on the same day that putin and trump talk. Ukraine & Europe, strong together. Both need to be included in peace talks, impossible without.
Big press conference.
Even if it's just to steal attention away, do it.
