I've been so heavily sheltered that even the clothes I wanted were heavily regulated
but recently I bought some new clothes for myself cuz I needed some and got a pair of combat boots and a graphic t and I'm happy because I feel like my own individual person
i may still try to adult but I'm happy to have some form of free will
Glad youβre getting to be yourself. I wanted to add that adults are allowed to like graphic tees and combat boots, even if the cult you grew up in wouldnβt agree
Dude I have SUCH negative associations with being an adult not caus of like, needing to have responsibilities that's fine but like, how much the adult world feels like it wants to stifle u and beat the wonder out of u. Doing stuff like that is wicked important to maintain ur concept of self! π
