Found the full article for free, and it really is a Hitler puff piece from the NYT in August 1939, nearly a year after the Kristallnacht pogrom, and after the annexations of Austria and the Sudetenland. He was literally finalizing the invasion of Poland at the time. archive.org/details/new-...
