D.C. has more residents than two U.S. states. They pay more per capita in federal taxes than any other state.
But they donāt get a serious seat at the table to decide how theyāre governed.

Iāll say again, we feed the incarcerated because theyāre mandated to be in prison. We should also feed kids because theyāre mandated to be in school. We shouldnāt be doing less for our kids than we do for incarcerated people.
The McCall Donnelly School District just implemented a new rule regarding school meal balances. If a kid has an unpaid balance of $20, they get cut off until their parents pay the balance.
There is no reason why kids in this district should have to pay for breakfast/lunch. Need to work on that.
