True, but even if both sides max out gerrymandering, it will still favor the fascists and their ilk, simply because it gives more power to the leaders and less to the populace, and that's what fascism is all about.
Hence, their advantage should be reduced, but gerrymandering itself also needs to end.

Allowing them any advantage at all is capitulation.
Several forms of gerrymandering are already illegal and unconstitutional. Doesn't fucking matter when the fascists you want to play fair with control the courts.
