Montreal bagels, as a distinct style, are tragically unrecognized. I struck up a conversation w/ what turned out to be an ardent Montreal foodie at Schwartz's years ago, and he put me in St Viateur as the archetype Montreal bagel, and they're amazing.
Montreal is low key a GREAT food city.

I truly don't get how you get from "beaten by cops multiple times" to "Dems and the GOP are the same". Especially when, while Harris' record on police misconduct as a DA and AG were horrible, she wasn't wistfully and publically longing for the cops to get "one really violent day".

There's a scene in some Western were the hero stands off a group of bad guys with his six shooter, and one of the bad guys says they should rush him since he's only got six shots; the hero comes back with 'Yeah, but which six of you want them?' I think that's a lot of what we're seeing now.
