In 2024 I lost 2 friends in 2 mos: Becks to suicide, Sam to physical self-neglect due to MH issues. Both were low-income artists-whip smart, charismatic, hilarious, loving, among friends, internally struggling alone. I have a lot to say about our MH services, but not today. Today I just miss them.

PSA to check the filters on your portable AC units. Ours is well maintained, regularly cleaned, and dusted. It's 90+here and we're Oregon weather-soft so we've had it (mostly) on for a week. Today it wasn't cooling to temp so I pulled off the back to inspect and found WET MOLD. Forkin yeeeeeek.
