We need to hear this.
Think about the UK’s reputation abroad. Lack of safe routes for refugees, migrants unwelcome, calamity of Brexit, inaction in Palestine (bearing in mind Balfour Declaration) and pensioners being arrested. It’s so sad and the legacy of empire doesn’t help. (Criticism is highest form of patriotism)

The killings of Anas al-Sharif, Mohammed Qreiqeh, Ibrahim Zaher, Mohammed Noufal and Moamen Aliwa by the IDF is a war crime. They are civilians. The IDF must provide evidence of the terrorist claims, and explain why an entire tent was targeted when they would know other civilians would be present.

Worth noting there were more white British people marching for Palestine than the ‘racist’ protests aimed at asylum seekers. By an absolute landslide. One to note for us all, especially in media and politics.

I fear for my daughters due to the far right misogyny being used to recruit young boys and men in this country. Tragic people arriving on our shores looking for shelter need to be treated with compassion.
Some will see this “medieval” language as racism. These same men are the same men or like the men who worked with our military. Who sacrificed their lives. And all this language hurts all children of migrants. Their cultures are our cultures. Is this division deliberate? Is this Enoch all over?
It's absolute dog whistle garbage. If Jenrick cared a jot about women, he'd be shouting from the tree tops about the hundreds of women murdered in their homes every year as a result of domestic violence rather than a handful of incidents involving asylum seekers.
