But this is surely why we need to hang onto ECHR (despite its faults) and our own UK Human Rights legislation. However, all we see in the media is calls to remove ourselves from ECHR. No-one has publicised WHY they were brought in and the protections they facilitate. That's the failure!

Whoever is advising Labour strategy is an idiot. Simple politics: if I support Reform, I'll vote Reform, if I oppose reform I'm not going to vote Reform lite Labour. Labour needs to ditch Starmer if it wants to survive and get a "big tent leader", like George Lansbury, who saved it in the 1930's
