Security but also possibly schedule. How many trains a day? How many flights?

This is either very short sighted (Trump should leave office in 3 years) or a tacit approval of the authoritarian takeover of the US. It also shouldnât matter one whit what the sitting president thinks of the media when considering whether that business is strong/profitable.

Just saw this scary sentence in a story regarding Warner sale: âLarry Ellisonsâs good relationship with President Trump is also a serious competitive edge considering the administrationâs fraught relationship with the media industry overallâ

Polls show increasing support (over 70 percent) for immigration restriction. These racist policies have been justified under the false austerity logic of "not enough resources". As billionaires & banks & bosses make record profits - largely on the backs of migrant labour!!!

Orzo is technically pasta that is rice shaped, but it should be cooked like neither rice nor pasta. You need a specific orzo recipe.

âSystem crashesâ do not cause backups to be lost. They deleted the videos which is breaking the law (again. Not that they care)

I think he means it is theoretically possible that it would have been fine if developed under non-capitalism. And I have to say: maybe.

Ah. Thatâs not the standard Jevon paradox though, which would say that energy efficiency gains making, for example, steel, would lead to more steel being used and no actual energy saved.

Itâs impossible to see the 6-7X that you cite in these graphs. In W hat units are the âenergy savingsâ in the second one for example? If itâs TWh, it looks like a handful and definitely not 6-7X the hundreds of TWh in the first. What am I missing?

Iâm not sure Jevon applies to all of these. At least not directly. But I 100% agree itâs too early to make that and many other âefficiencyâ predictions around AI that are currently being made. These are SWAGs, not projections based on currently measured data where AI is known to be providing savings
