So, I must have missed this dispatch call, but apparently Halifax Fire was sent down near Grand Parade for...traffic. Like "there's traffic, go find out why there's traffic". The engine was like "yeah there are cars driving around and there's a couple buses and some pedestrians. It's a Wednesday."
Until I started listening to the dispatch radio, I didn't realize how many times Halifax Fire was called out to bus terminals to meet up with bus operators who had incidents on board and need someone to talk to. It seems like it's mostly supervisors that do that, but it's almost daily.
