I would like to claim jester's privilege.

  1. watching out my window and wondering

does a squirrel's brain work like a gyroscope?

always keeping it on what feels to be "level"

    regardless of position

    it's not disorienting

just feels like what we call "horizontal"

    regardless of orientation

superhero power shit if you think about it

Alt: this is probably one of the dumbest gifs ever but it fits my post. original alt text states "a squirrel is sitting on the ground with a zipper on its chest and says `` good morning have a super day '' ."
they left out that zipper opening reveals a red/yellow/blue Superman chest logo.

  2. Is it a tragedy that men flock to buy a model of masculinity that is outwardly destructive and inwardly makes their own lives less fulfilling, rewarding, and smaller in perspective and experience? Yes. Do I have the bandwidth to feel bad for them? Not in the fucking least.

  3. It’s insane that some people are still trying to attribute the mass starvation of an entire country to “it’s just complicated in the region.” That’s the refuge of cowards. Geopolitics is always complicated. Moral clarity in the face of genocide is - or should be - a simple ask

  4. Apparently, inflation is bad, but we must impose tariffs to raise the cost of cheap imports so people buy expensive American goods. We can re-shore manufacturing, but to be cost competitive, we have to fully automate factories, replacing American workers with robots.

  5. Texas GOP Rep. Giovanni Capriglione...the same man who rammed through a six‑week abortion ban...has been exposed: a 17‑year affair and allegedly paid for multiple abortions. These aren't leaders...they're hypocrites in power. If that doesn’t make you furious, you’re not awake.
