Well, no wonder he resigned so quickly...if this document is correct. I'm not doubting the poster. But his reported education is stellar. Resigning to spend more time with family is a time honored euphemism. What's the truth?
He let his cert lapse intentionally. Supposedly as a statement against recert fees assessed by the internal medicine board. But regardless, his position at the FDA never required it, and it’s not related to his resignation. It does affect his ability to go back to clinical practice tho.

Thank you for the information. Not to start a stupid conspiracy thing. But many times when a professional lets their license lapse it is usually a deal to avoid more serious consequences of wrong doing.
