He let his cert lapse intentionally. Supposedly as a statement against recert fees assessed by the internal medicine board. But regardless, his position at the FDA never required it, and it’s not related to his resignation. It does affect his ability to go back to clinical practice tho.
Thank you for the information. Not to start a stupid conspiracy thing. But many times when a professional lets their license lapse it is usually a deal to avoid more serious consequences of wrong doing.

Anything’s possible, but he was already not doing much clinically. Helping people hasn’t been his thing for a long time. :-p
