  1. I don't want to repost the awful stuff in that Chat GPT suicide case. But I will say that Chat GPT should be destroyed, financially and legally. The data centers should be disassembled and recycled. Sam Altman should go to prison.

    The details of the settlement aren't public yet. Extremely curious to see how much per infringed work, and how many authors are ultimately involved. Also curious if there will be pushback from the class a la Google Books

  5. I think Reagan firing air traffic controllers was one of the key turning points in the U.S., though Reagan in general was as everyone knows, the point where all of our line graphs start plummeting.

    Not enough folks are connecting the attacks on labor organizing over the last 50 years to the moment we find ourselves in.

    Labor is now our ONLY organizing asset that still has power & possibility of turning this ship in a different direction
