I can feel some pity for Jim. But the warnings were loud, clear and extraordinarily numerous. The tariffs, the extortion of our trading partners, and his gutting of the EPA were all plain as the orange-painted nose on his face.

It is exactly that: a meeting of old friends at the brownstone, Saul’s apartment, Lily’s penthouse, Lon’s office, and a room with Cramer or the DA. I have paperbacks from the 1970s in a state of dilapidation with which I cannot part.
