  1. Probationary FEMA employees have been reassigned to ICE & must report in 7 days or lose their jobs. prospect.org/labor/2025-0... Desperate & delusional? FEMA’s public servants (trained to risk their lives to help folks survive disaster) obvi won’t go work for ICE…but they will file a lawsuit.

Probationary employees who had been on paid leave were told to report to ICE within seven days or lose their jobs. It could signal problems with ICE recruitment.

  3. The MAGA-led response to the Texas floods is going great - so great that locals are still finding rotting human body parts in the debris that no one in government appears to care about picking up:

Residents told state lawmakers about what they’ve lost and the hardships they’re experiencing almost a month after the July 4 disaster devastated the region.

  4. Yeah this would probably radicalize me in ways I dont want to fully contemplate if I was in this man's position

"Local contractor Bud Bolton, who lives just downstream from the RV parks on the Ingram-Kerrville border that suffered heavy losses of life, testified that he saw 108 RVs swept downstream, some of them with families still inside. Bolton, who woke up on his own when there was water on his doorstep around 4:15 a.m. said 20 fire trucks and rescue vehicles were parked near his home but no one knocked on his door to warn him. When Sen. Charles Perry, R-Lubbock, halted Bolton’s testimony, he seized the mic again saying, "I lost 27 people that I knew" before being cut off for exceeding his time limit."

  6. Republican members of Colorado’s House delegation haven’t held a single in-person town hall this year.

    NONE.

I’ve hosted 14 in just the past 7 months.

    And we’re just getting started!

I’m proud to have hosted 14 town-halls in the past 7 months — more than most Members of Congress in the country.

My Republican colleagues in Colorado have held NONE.

I’ll keep showing up and standing up — for the Western Slope, Northern Colorado, and every corner of our great district!
