I'm all for it, but Dems have to a message that resonates with rural people. That means they have understand rural lifestyles. For example, you can't tell a voter in a place like Woodward, OK that he's going to need to ride a bicycle and take a train. Understand and then just talk to them.

Is there a source for te number for the Napoleonic wars? I have a sense that artillery tactics, and to some extent the guns themselves improved from 1780 1800. Curious if that would have moved it. Also ACW when I assume the ranges were MUCH longer?
