And here you go. I honestly do not understand the moral cowardice that leads some of our fellow citizens to not speak out against what's going on.

  1. Faulty premise.

    It's not cowardice. IT'S AVARICE.

The entire oligarch-owned Zombie Fourth Estate disinformation industry LIKES this and believes they are going to profit wildly from it.

  2. Who would they be speaking to? It's not moral cowardice. It's an increasing certainty there's no organized opposition currently anywhere, other than small local groups who're, stalwart as they are, failing to stop egregious lawlessness.

  3. The puges at the Pentagon and appointment of incompetent amateurs like Hegseth to replace them made it clear to me in, oh, February that one goal was making it possible to use the military against the U.S. populace.

  4. I believe that every large police department has local cops embedded with various federal task forces. If Trump moves to send the military into cities, the first thing that the mayors should do is pull all of those officers out of the task forces.

  5. I don't think these people are aware of how many National Guard troops it takes to guard a building, much less police a city. They typically turn out to be human statues.

  6. Conservative voters must tell their representatives that this is unacceptable. They must demand they end this and vote them out if they don't. Give them the choice of removing Trump or losing their seats.

  7. Dictatorships need popular support & high security to be upheld. Since Trump is so unpopular they are deciding to lean fully on the latter. All stick no carrot means permanent military occupation of all population centers. And if they do loose any election expect this army to swoop in to overturn it

  8. 1.3 million active duty troops and 750,000 National Guard are going to cover 50 states?

26,000 per state active duty and 15,000 per state backup by National Guard.

Are they sure every soldier is willing to shoot fellow citizens?

  9. Not to mention the military. Officers swear to the constitution don’t they? Not the President?

Regardless, they are not obligated to carry out unjust orders. Our military has always been unconstitutional, but this is so far beyond anything we’ve seen.

  10. Reminder, this is the same Pentagon that couldn't figure out how to secure Iraq, a much smaller and less heavily armed country with a long history of suffering under assholes before they fired all of the people who actually know how to do things.

Be angry but don't be intimidated.

  11. right wingers like this kind of nazi shit, and they always have despite all their freedom propaganda, what conservatism has always been about and always will be about is conformity and hierarchy, they live in a constant state of fear, particularly of change especially social fluidity

  12. We knew he would use the military to invade a country to distract from epstein. What we didn't know is that it would be the former republic known as the u.s

  13. He’s playing defense and normalizing military use against citizens. The growing masses will continue to rise up against his regime, but not all in our military are loyalists…

  14. So this tells me they're planning for civil unrest, that they're going to push the people so far that revolution is inevitable.

  15. America has always been a remarkably conformist society, going all the way back to your founding by religious fanatics expelled from England; you don't have a problem of too many of your fellow citizens not speaking out about this, you have a problem that so many of them are clamouring for this.

  16. Wait till they team up with ICE Barbie’s goons for the ‘26 election. I think there’s a reason our esteemed SecDef’s brother is the DHS liaison.

    Aside from nepotism, I mean.

  17. We're all going to have to get on board with a General Strike.

Shut this country down with work stoppage and not buying anything. No school, no work.

Protest while we can...millions in the streets (they can't arrest 11 million people)

But even without protest, we can shut it all down.

  18. This is outrageous. The posse comitatus law should be strengthened to prevent this. Similarly, the ability of POTUS to use the National Guard for civil control needs to be severely restricted and require Congressional authorization.

  19. Few understand what this is all about.

Distraction from Epstein? No Big Ball's ass-whooping? Nah, LOL Crime and the homeless? Nope

Civil unrest after the GOP illegally maintains control of the Senate and House after the midterm? Bingo!

  20. If the majority of your populace becomes “unruly” once you start to push a certain policy agenda, then perhaps said policies are unpopular and aren’t in the best interest of The People.

You cannot strong-arm a population into sustainable submission; you must restore true Representative Governance.

  21. Wondering (not really) where the leaked plan for blue state governors to mobilize their national guard units to block federal troops/agents from creating unrest and abusing their citizens in their states.

  22. I think Le Monde (Paris) has the headline right: Trump orders National Guard into Washington in a political swipe against Democratic elites

  23. It sure looks like he isnt planning to send anyone into cities that DONT have gun control laws, though.

He seems super focused on making cities WITH gun control laws unsafe...not from crime, but from HIM...

    Just an observation

  24. Because this is a completely safe issue for Republicans. 100% of GOP voters believe Democrat run cities are crime-infested hellscapes because they've had nightly fear programming on right-wing media for decades. To them, this is Trump's ride-in-on-a-white-horse to save America moment.

  25. Every person wearing a US military uniform who is involved in this needs a military tribunal. Voluntarily making US WAR PLANS against US citizens on US soil is fcking outright treason and definitely violates any oath of office any of them made.

  26. The National Guard already IS "ready around the clock." And plans are just pieces of paper. React to actual things that happen. The L.A. nat guard deployment was a big fat nothingburger.

  28. The total uselessness of our "opposition party" explains a lot of it.

We need a real opposition party on the side of people, not corporations and billionaires.

  29. You also have to acknowledge that many Americans have no idea what is happening. Not everyone watches or follows the news. So many people just live their lives naively, happily unaware of what is happening anywhere other than in their own sphere. Just consider how many never vote.
