Same in Belgium except for on roads with a yellow diamond shape on signs (faster roads).

Yes, I marked a long time ago too and postage of scripts/samples/approvals/batches etc took ages. But a lot of that is digital now and I’m sure the date could be brought forward.

Thank you.

Universities here (Belgium) expect candidates to upload their results in June/July because everything here is teacher assessed and students leave with their high school certificate when school finishes. In France the Bac results come out mid July.

I think it's around 200,000 across 160 countries each year. In England, 275,000 take A Levels I think (but will be more internationally). Marked by teachers too. The exams are not so spread out - my daughter's IB friends had all their exams in about a 10 day period. Hers stretched across a month.

Thank you. We hadn't realised that her visa as a dependent only lasted until she was 18. After that, she has to have an international student visa, which, if she passes, she shouldn't have a problem with. The trans healthcare here is phenomenal - she's desperate to stay.

That's good to hear.

Yet other countries have their results way sooner. IB for example is international and they have theirs out in the first week in July. At a conference recently someone from Pearson said within 5 years most would be marked by AI - and they're already trialling this. Maybe then.

The ridiculously long wait for A Level results is so bloody stressful for families. Surely there's a way of bringing them in earlier? Especially stressful this year. Passes = residency; failures = deportation to Terf Island.
