  1. I think it's around 200,000 across 160 countries each year. In England, 275,000 take A Levels I think (but will be more internationally). Marked by teachers too. The exams are not so spread out - my daughter's IB friends had all their exams in about a 10 day period. Hers stretched across a month.

  2. Yet other countries have their results way sooner. IB for example is international and they have theirs out in the first week in July. At a conference recently someone from Pearson said within 5 years most would be marked by AI - and they're already trialling this. Maybe then.

  3. The ridiculously long wait for A Level results is so bloody stressful for families. Surely there's a way of bringing them in earlier? Especially stressful this year. Passes = residency; failures = deportation to Terf Island.
