  1. The picture on the right reminds me of when I was at Ft. Gordon and they’d make us paint the barracks. If you found a spot that peeled or chipped, it was a thick piece that had layer of every color Sherwin Williams ever produced.

  2. In my last rental I cut through those stalagtites with a razor blade, exposing the geode-like layers of paint within

  3. I don’t know how you found this photo of my window sill. That’s my pre-war-plus-20-layers-of-paint apartment right there.

  4. 🤣 looks like that cause its most assuredly all wood that was painted. actual gold pressed into shapes would have more definition, imho

  5. I swear that I always just assumed that the gold in his hotels was mostly just plastic and that the paint would be peeling in a few of the bathrooms.

  6. A few weeks ago somebody here on Blue sky found those exact decorations on Etsy or something like that. They were plastic or plaster and just painted gold. I think $50 was the most expensive one.

  8. Looking at the details the painting job is terrible. Obviously your point too, but I had no idea. Just thought all the gold was tacky.

  11. Worst part is if any Democrat in the future decides to take any of it down they'll be accused of changing history, enforcing their bias on a historic political building, and/or wasting taxpayers money to do so.

Literally what the Orange Squawkbox has already done to put up all this cheap trash.

  13. Oooh! The US also has “the landlord special”? Do you also paint over light switches when you do that?

  14. Merrick Garland needs to go down in history as the guy who allowed fascism to happen in America. He should have pulled out all the stops to investigate all Trump's crimes as soon as he was appointed to office. I am beyond disgusted with that asshat.

  15. hell, maybe the current white house does represent a kind of everyman americana--just the kind where it's a layer of "luxury" on top of cheap mdf that won't last more than a few years

  16. I painted my ‘landlords special’ with red Sharpie©️to give it some meaning 🧛🏻‍♂️ and I had a stab at some subsistence remediation 🩹👷🏻‍♂️ Just take it off the rent would ya!!

White skirting board with an old dried drip of gloss paint that’s been painted blood red A nasty crack in an interior wall of a rental property with a big brown sticking plaster over it!
