I am an atheist. I am not aggressive, but I feel pretty strong in my lack of faith. I don't see the utility in arguing the existence or nonexistence of god. Believe what you want to, just don't be a dick about it, or a dick in general.

•what's left of the Voting Rights Act •all bans on LGBTQ conversion therapy for minors •the last remaining pillar of McCain–Feingold's campaign finance reform
... while upholding bans on trans student athletes.

I was randomly inspired to start thinking about the Voting Rights Act yesterday and did some Googling last night only to wake up this morning & learn today is the 60th anniversary of its signing into law. Anyway, voting rights as we know them are almost over. www.motherjones.com/politics/202...

I appreciate any ally in the fight against facism, but would you consider a revamped voting rights act today if you were in Congress? Maybe not the John Lewis bill, but something?

I disagree, but also understand that folks are addicted to outrage on both sides of the aisle these days. If I am wrong then I think our culture is too f'd for it to matter whether the opposition figures out how to win more.
