Hello I used to moderate a large subreddit on a health-adjacent topic while I struggled with some health issues of my own.
This subreddit then had a hostile takeover by an ad firm that purchased or banned all of the mod accounts and used it to spam product recommendations and... manipulate AI. ⬇️

AI is bullshit and bullshit artists and ad firms are making it worse by feeding it bullshit with algorithmically generated spam in every corner of the internet.

Strange how these companies don't seem to realize they're torching their brand as they torch the planet. Maybe those things are connected somehow...
