The Democratic Party is struggling to register voters and raise money ahead of the 2026 midterms, when the party hopes to win back the House.
They aren’t really politicians, they are political functionaries who do only whats laid out in the constitution. The constitution says the prez does x + y and congress does z + w, so they do that and ONLY that. They don’t build power outside their offices, they dont build movements. They are uesless
The last politican near the top of the party was Obama, Hillary bragged about checking as many political boxes as possible and noone cared, Biden had decades in the senate, no one cared, Kamala was a vision of the Generic Democrat and she lost. They need people who can build excitement and energy
